Who we are

C&A Pharmaceuticals Ltd ("C&A", "we", "us") runs this website and is responsible for the personal information collected through it. We follow the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019 of Uganda.

What we collect

Account details: when you create an account or sign in, we receive your name, email address and profile photo. If you sign in with Google, Google shares these details with us after you agree on its consent screen. We do not receive your Google password.

Blog activity: the comments you post and the posts you like are stored with your account. Your name and profile photo are shown next to your comments.

Usage data: we use Vercel Analytics to count page views and measure site performance. It does not use cookies or build a profile of you.

We do not collect prescriptions, medical records or payment details through this website.

How we use it

We use your information to run your account, show your comments, keep the site secure and understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us: Clerk (sign-in and accounts), Vercel (hosting and analytics), Supabase (database), Hygraph (website content) and Cloudinary (images). They process data on our instructions and may store it outside Uganda.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information and comments until you delete your account or ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email us at capharmacy.gmfinanceadm@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Office of Uganda.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
